.SP-random-post-clear { width:100%;border-top: dotted 1px #CCCCCC; height:5px; !important }
Et supprimé : border-top: dotted 1px #CCCCCC;
Car il se peu que votre thème utilise déjà se style pour les balise li
Merci, Fred. Merci beacucoup.
Hello,
I want to show the thumbnail in the widget but I don’t know how to add thumbnail to post. Please tell me how can i manage that.
Hello Askari
For the thumbnails of your item is visible in the widget you need to add a first image for post and your theme should support the thumbnails in your function.php file you have this:
// This theme uses post thumbnails
add_theme_support( 'post-thumbnails' );
Then check Do you see a thumbnail? menu Widget
I have added the the function, but still I am not getting the thumbnail, can you please tell me where do I need to thumbnail into my post, do i need to add custom field in my post?
There is no need to add custom fields to the widget works,
I did an update of the plugin by modifying the function to retrieve the thumbnails I hope it will work on your theme!
Thank you, I will wait for the update. 🙂
Thanks my Problem is resolved 🙂
Sorry for disturbing you again and again I have one more question that if I want to hide date of the posting from the sidebar then what should I do.
Hello Askari
No problem
To remove the date edit the css file of the plugin has simplicy_random_post.css from the WordPress dashboard and replace the following lines:
.SP-random-post-clear-top { width:100%; height:5px; !important }
.simplicy-date_random-post {font-size:11px;margin-top:10px;}
by
.SP-random-post-clear-top { width:100%; height:5px; clear:both !important }
.simplicy-date_random-post {font-size:11px;margin-top:10px;display:none;
}
I tried the code 😉
Hi,
I’ve just installed Simplicy Random Post plugin but according to your screenshot, it has thumbnails but I couldn’t see thumbnails displayed on my blog after using this plugin. Could you tell me how to enable thumbnail?
Thanks.
Regards,
Peter
Hi peter,
You must use the Featured Images in your post to get the thumbnail.
function.php your theme
add_theme_support( 'post-thumbnails' );
Hi, i was wondering how to be able to make the thumbnail a link. On my site the thumbnail is not a link. I was also wondering how to set the height and width for each thumbnail. Example would be 100px x 60x. Similar to the Recent Post plugin you created. Thank you for your work. It is genius and exactly what I was looking for.
Hi Paul,
I’ve updated the plugin now you have the width and height of the thumbnail option, and I added the link on the thumbnail.
thank you
Awesome. Once last question tho. It looks like i need to add the proper margins for the thumbnails. see maddsentinel.com to get an idea of what I am referring to. I want it to look like the recent post.
To adjust the margin edit the file simplicy_random_post.css and the class:
. SP-random-post-clear-top {width: 100% height: 5px;! Important}
example changing the
height: 20px;
It should work
Perfect. It worked. I really appreciate it. Thank You..
